A man who survived being blasted by a gunman has been targeted again in a firebomb attack on his home. The 26-year-old fled unhurt after the incendiary device failed to fully explode on Monday night. Gardai evacuated residents in Transallagh, near St Johnston, Co Donegal, as army experts dismantled the make-shift bomb and searched for secondary devices. The 11 families were allowed back into their homes yesterday after the area was declared safe. The target, from Derry, underwent emergency surgery just four weeks ago after he was blasted in the neck by gunmen. The Real IRA later said it carried out that attack.
