Gardai were yesterday probing a fire that destroyed the home of a man who was shot by the Real IRA three months ago. There were no injuries in the blaze at Transallagh, near St Johnston, Co Donegal, shortly before midnight on Sunday. Nobody has lived in the house since its last occupant, a 26-year-old man from the Creggan area of Derry, who moved to St Johnston earlier this year, was shot in the neck on September 25. On October 10 a pipe bomb was left outside the same property.
